Ben’s car

I’m hosting some images for Ben Alsup. He’s selling his 1997 30th Anniversary Edition Z-28. Check out the pictures, it’s a good looking car.

eBay

I’ve started selling off many of my worldly possions on eBay. You can look at my about me page to see what I have for sale.

Time flies

Once again time passes too quickly for me to keep up with…

I’ve been busy working on all sorts of new things. I’m setting up a website for a local business that sells Overhead Feed Storage Bins. It’s always good to work on something that you know nothing about. And I’m wrapped up in my own personal projects. More about those later…

Time flies

Wow, what happened to September? More stuff is coming soon. I’ve just been too busy to get things put on the site lately…

Summer’s gone

Well, the students are back in school. Next week will be pretty crazy as we get everything going. Hopefully things will calm down after that.

Also, I attended the Microsoft TechNet Briefing today. I learned a lot about Exchange 2000 and SQL 2000, and got some cool free stuff. I’ll start posting some Windows 2000 information here soon.

New layout

I think I finally found a layout for the site that I can live with. It will probably stay this way for a while. In a few days I should have an interesting article on Windows logon scripts using VBScript.

School’s out

Wow, it’s been almost two months since I last updated this page. That’s sad. Anyway, school’s out for summer now so maybe things will slow down a bit at work. I’ve already taken one week of vacation and I’m anxiously awaiting July 1.

Good Friday

This was the worst “Good Friday” I’ve ever had. I drove 100 miles to take two of my Microsoft Certification tests and when I got there the testing center was closed. I was in a hurry to leave town so we didn’t stop to get cash. We realized that we forgot the ATM card when we got to Dallas. To top it all off I got a speeding ticket for doing 59 in a 40. What a day…

Redesign

Here I go again, redesigning my web site. You’ll have to excuse the lack of graphics in some places. Maybe it’ll be done in the morning…

New truck

Wow, so much has happened since the last time I updated. I don’t really even know where to start…

I got a new truck, it’s a Toyota Tacoma. I’m really enjoying it. It’s a Jade Green 4×4. I’m sure I’ll never even take it off the road, but it is nice to know that I could if I wanted to.

We held our first Linux User Group meeting, the two of us who attended had a good time and learned quite a bit. I’m planning on holding another meeting on November 13. Hopefully we’ll at least double our attendance. I should also thank the good folks at Red Hat for sending me a box of stuff to give away at the next meeting.

And, I’ve been really working hard on Linux programming using GTK+. I seems a lot easier than Windows programming, but it could just be because I’ve already learned Windows programming. I’ll put up some screen-shots and code over on my Linux page as soon as I have something interesting to show.
