I’ve been busy working on all sorts of new things. I’m setting up a website for a local business that sells Overhead Feed Storage Bins. It’s always good to work on something that you know nothing about. And I’m wrapped up in my own personal projects. More about those later…
Linux news
I spent last night compiling the 2.4.0 Linux Kernel. Everything went very well. While it was compiling I downloaded KDE 2.0.1.
I took me about two and a half hours to get both of these downloaded and setup on my Dell Latitude and I’m very happy with the results.
Also, I finally finished my news database so I can easily update this news page with a form.

It’s a new year so I’d better update my site. I’ve changed the layout a little. My Operating Systems section was starting to get a little crowded so I seperated it into a Linux section and a Windows section. Let me know if anything is broken.

Summer’s gone
Well, the students are back in school. Next week will be pretty crazy as we get everything going. Hopefully things will calm down after that.
Also, I attended the Microsoft TechNet Briefing today. I learned a lot about Exchange 2000 and SQL 2000, and got some cool free stuff. I’ll start posting some Windows 2000 information here soon.
